What is this Hackathon about?
It is a two-day multidisciplinary event organized by the University of Salamanca in collaboration with INCIBE through the Cybersecurity Chair, CyberChain, where participants from various areas (economics, law, computer science, etc.) will work intensively in teams of 5 people to produce a prototype focused on providing blockchain-based solutions for different traceability problems in the industry.
This event aims to foster innovation, creativity, and problem-solving through cooperation, promoting learning, networking, and the technical training and development of participants.
Who can participate?
The Hackathon is aimed at students from any Degree or Master's program at any Spanish university.
What challenges are proposed?
Traceability and Smart Logistics
Innovative ideas and/or tools in logistics using Blockchain for efficient traceability, route optimization, and product integrity assurance.
Financial Traceability and Smart Contracts
Ideas and/or tools to provide transparency to financial flows and automate transactions using Blockchain and smart contracts.
Traceability and Insurance
Ideas and/or tools to automate insurance management based on traceability with efficient compensations using ERC20 tokens.
Traceability Analysis
Ideas and/or tools to detect suspicious activities on blockchain, such as fraud or money laundering, through transaction analysis.
How do I form a team?
5 MEMBERS
If you already have a team, each member must register individually indicating the team's name they belong to. The organization will verify that the team has 5 members and your team will be ready to participate.
The event organization will assist in team creation: If a person does not have a team and wants to participate, or if a team has less than 5 people, they can contact the organization at bisite@usal.es and the event officials will help them complete or become part of a team.
