Seminar: Industry Overview on Cybersecurity

The International Chair in Blockchain for Cybersecurity ‘CyberChain’ holds the seminar ‘Laboratory of ideas on cybersecurity for the Arab world’ within the event ‘International meeting on the prospectives of AI and Cybersecurity’. The University of Salamanca and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport will join in this global challenge of cybersecurity to pool knowledge and ideas for the development of cybersecurity and its link with other technologies, such as Blockchain, in different frameworks and territories, as well as possible future alliances.

The seminar will have two parts, the first one will be a presentation where the situation, perspective, humanistic and ethical factors related to the current and future cybersecurity market will be discussed. In this way, a framework of current cybersecurity will be shown, which will study and give the first brushstrokes to the actions and aspects of future action in this area. In the second part, a Thinktank will be held, where the future of cybersecurity in the Arab world will be discussed in a round table format, drawing new conclusions and aspects of the future of cybersecurity.

Attendees of this event will be able to learn about the challenges, opportunities and strategies related to cybersecurity in Arab countries in a constantly evolving technological context. The seminar will feature international experts who will share their knowledge in the field in a roundtable format in order to reach a series of common and joint development ideas based on future collaboration.

Finally, the day will include a space for networking, which will be a valuable opportunity to exchange impressions or establish professional collaborations.
