Workshop focused on the technical and legal analysis of crypto-asset exchange platforms | CSDT

The Cyber Secure Digital Token Platform (CSDT) project of the Spanish National Institute of Cybersecurity (INCIBE) and the University of Salamanca, organises the Workshop on Crypto-Asset Exchange Platforms: Technical and Legal Aspects in the framework of the 16th International Symposium on Ambient Intelligence #IsAmI25.

The aim of the workshop, to be held from 25-27 June 2025 at the University of Lille (France), is to explore the technical and legal aspects of cryptocurrency exchange platforms, focusing on their design, operation and regulatory compliance. The workshop will also examine the applicable regulations in the European and global contexts, including MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets) legislation, as well as the challenges associated with privacy, cybersecurity and interoperability on exchange platforms.

Interested researchers have already submitted their papers to be part of a high technical quality workshop with colleagues from different parts of the world. Some of the main topics to be covered include the following:

• Application of tokenisation in digital twins to optimise supply chains.

• Data protection and privacy in cryptocurrency exchange platforms.

• Use of smart contracts for automation and transparency of transactions.

• Regulatory considerations in the interoperability between blockchain platforms and traditional financial systems..

• Implementation of consumer protection policies on cryptocurrency platforms.
