CSDT: Cybersecure platform for the exchange of digital tokens based on energy-efficient distributed ledger technologies
The CSDT project's main objective is to develop a secure and innovative platform for the exchange of digital tokens. This platform based on energy-efficient distributed ledger technology (DLT) will drive innovation in the use of disruptive technologies. Applications for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) will be explored, and the new possibilities for the digital economy provided by blockchain and directed acyclic graphs (DAGs) will be investigated, with the aim of improving the security, efficiency, and scalability of token exchange.

Methodology
CSDT will follow the methodology of action research, the application of which, by its very nature, is beneficial as it allows for both research and action to be carried out simultaneously. Action is generally associated with a transformation in a given community, organisation or project, while the concept of research is understood more broadly in terms of the change it brings about for the research community, the client or both. The action research methodology has the most realistic setting as it provides a real context in which to investigate the results of concrete actions. Studies developed under this methodology share four common characteristics, namely, they are action- and change-oriented; they adapt a problem-solving approach; the research process is organic and involves systematic and sometimes iterative stages; emphasis is placed on collaboration among participants. Following this methodology, there are five research phases:
All the research phases will be accompanied by technical monitoring and coordination for the proper implementation of the project and a plan for communication and dissemination of the necessary results.
Information
on project results
The CSDT project is a strategic collaboration project between the University of Salamanca and INCIBE. All research phases will be accompanied by the corresponding dissemination of results.
A collection of articles and reports related to the project will be made available here soon.
