CyberChain to Showcase Employment and Training Opportunities at the 3rd Employment and Entrepreneurship Fair in Salamanca

On October 4th, the CyberChain Chair will participate in the 3rd Employment and Entrepreneurship Fair, held at the Chamber of Commerce of Salamanca (Plaza Sexmeros, 2). This event is aimed at connecting young people with the job market, attracting professional talent from the region, and promoting entrepreneurship as a viable career path.

At the CyberChain information booth, attendees will learn about employability and training opportunities in the fields of blockchain and cybersecurity offered by the Chair. In addition, job vacancies will be available for both specialists and students or recent graduates in these fields. Companies will also have the chance to recruit talent directly at the event.

Oportunidades

Throughout the day, various talks and workshops will focus on preparing individuals to meet the challenges of finding or advancing in their careers. Highlights include a session by Lorena García, Head of RetailÁrea at TalentÁrea, on “How to Apply the GPA Formula to Reach New Goals and Objectives.” Following that, Beatriz Calle, Executive Director and Instructor at Hello Salamanca and Hello Studies Abroad, will share tips on maintaining confidence during interviews in English, while Teresa Ramos Martin, professor at IE Business School, will discuss the key skills needed to take the next step in your career, particularly in the context of artificial intelligence.

In parallel, attendees will have access to personalized advice on crafting a CV tailored to the job they’re pursuing, along with key interview tips and guidance on writing a compelling cover letter. This advice will be provided in the ideal setting to put it into practice and explore job opportunities that align with their interests.

CyberChain: Career and Training Opportunities in Blockchain

CyberChain stands out for the professional growth opportunities it offers through its three core pillars: education, research, and employment. One of its latest offerings is the Master’s in Blockchain and Smart Contracts, which focuses primarily on legal and financial disciplines. Registration for the program is still open.

The Chair also regularly hosts events, including this October’s “Application Design for IoT and IIoT” workshop and the “Blockchain, Security, and IoT: Challenges and Solutions” seminar, scheduled for October 29th and 30th at the R&D&I Multi-Purpose Building of the University of Salamanca.
