The aim of this course is for students to learn more about how this technology can have a favourable impact on industry and why it is considered one of the most viable options to be used in building and guaranteeing the security of such platforms. At the same time, the challenges present during its application in different real scenarios are addressed.

In terms of blockchain technology, we go in depth into its evolution and its close relationship with smart contracts, with emphasis on its structure, cryptography, security controls, vulnerabilities and types of attacks.

Furthermore, its application in areas such as logistics, the supply chain, the financial and energy industry, the health sector and the public sector is exemplified, highlighting how it guarantees greater trust and security in the processing of data and the carrying out of transactions.

To conclude this training, a discussion will be held on recent innovations in this area, its impact on digital transformation, challenges and future outlook. Thus, career and employment prospects in blockchain in different industrial scenarios will be explored.
